You will diagnose, repair, and maintain chillers, building controls, and cooling towers, while communicating clearly with customers and maintaining service documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience servicing Trane and other OEM equipment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including airside, waterside, and controls.
• Experience with boilers and variable-frequency drives is preferred.
• EPA refrigerant certification required.
• Technical certifications and factory training are preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to establish trusted-advisor relationships with customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; overtime may be required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, start up, and install reciprocating, rotary, and centrifugal chillers of all tonnages.
• Service and retrofit HVAC equipment, ancillary systems, and building controls.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex airside, waterside, and control systems.
• Service, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on cooling tower systems.
• Conduct maintenance inspections according to the established scope of work.
• Clearly communicate equipment conditions, repair recommendations, and service updates to customers.
• Maintain accurate and timely service documentation.
• Follow all Hunton safety policies and applicable OSHA and EPA regulations.
