Job summary

Seneca Resorts & Casinos is hiring a Heavy Cleaner to maintain cleanliness of all casino areas, using buffers, carpet cleaners and other equipment. You will work both alone and in groups, ensuring policy compliance and top-notch patron service.

The role requires 18+, high school diploma preferred, and prior cleaning and customer service experience. Training is required within nine months; starting rate is $16.16/hour with a signing bonus of $1,500.

All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Maintain the cleanliness of the casino. Duties include the operation of cleaning machines such as buffers, furnishers, carpet cleaning machines, escalator cleaning machines and other miscellaneous cleaning equipment to ensure consistent cleanliness.2. Required to carry out individual assignments as well as working with a group.3. Must have basic knowledge of and work with various cleaning chemicals.4. Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.5. Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.6. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.7. Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.8. Attend all necessary meetings.9. Previous customer service experience preferred.4. Must be familiar with proper use of all cleaning equipment and chemicals.5. Knowledge in the operation of cleaning machines such as buffers, burnishers, carpet cleaning machines, escalator cleaning machines and other miscellaneous cleaning equipment.6. Previous housekeeping experience a plus.Language Skills and Reasoning Ability:1. Must possess excellent communication skills.2.
