You will own full-cycle estimating from takeoff to bid submission, perform quantity takeoffs, coordinate with subs and vendors, analyze costs, review plans and reports, and support value

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil or structural construction.
• Strong background in concrete structures and public works projects.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and structural drawings.
• Experience with takeoff and estimating software (Bluebeam, HCSS, HeavyBid, or similar).
• Solid understanding of production rates, means & methods, and cost drivers.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle estimating from takeoff to bid submission.
• Produce quantity takeoffs for concrete, rebar, formwork, excavation, and more.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for bid analysis.
• Analyze costs for labor, materials, equipment and production rates.
• Review plans, specs, geotechnical reports, and project risks.
• Develop value engineering and cost-saving strategies.
• Prepare bid packaging and proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams.
