Job summary

You will own full-cycle estimating from takeoff to bid submissions, perform quantity takeoffs, and coordinate with field teams and vendors to ensure accurate bids and smooth project execution. Strong knowledge of read plans, specs, and production rates is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating in heavy civil or structural construction.
• Strong background in concrete structures and public works.
• Ability to read plans, specs, and structural drawings.
• Experience with takeoff/estimating software (Bluebeam, HCSS, HeavyBid or similar).
• DOT/public agency project experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle estimating from takeoff to bid submission.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs for concrete, rebar, formwork, excavation.
• Coordinate with subs, vendors, and project teams.
• Analyze costs for labor, materials, equipment, and rates.
• Review plans, specs, and geotechnical reports for risk.
• Support bid packaging and proposals.
