Thalle Construction Co. Inc. (“Thalle”) is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Mansfield, Texas. The role reports to the Project Executive and involves close collaboration with the operations team, requiring resourcefulness, proactivity, professionalism, and confidentiality. This position involves frequent travel around Texas.

Established in 1947, Thalle is a heavy civil construction company with offices in Hillsborough, NC, and Alvarado, TX. We undertake diverse projects including dams, reservoirs, locks, DOT roadway construction, bridges, utilities, landfills, mass excavation, wastewater, and emergency services across the Southeast, Texas, and New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities

1. Travel frequently within Texas; residence can be flexible within the region.
2. Plan and execute civil construction projects according to standards and requirements.
3. Ensure quality control, review designs, and prepare reports for management.
4. Collaborate with field management to resolve issues during project execution.
5. Approve equipment, personnel, and requisitions; make major project decisions.
6. Manage project budgets, financial projections, and performance reports.
7. Act as Thalle’s representative at project meetings with owners and engineers.
8. Ensure safety protocols are followed and manage governmental agency interactions.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional licenses and contractor certifications.
• At least 10 years of experience in project engineering and management, with heavy civil construction expertise.
• Proficiency in Primavera, Viewpoint, HCSS Heavy Bid, and P6.
• Recent OSHA 30-hour safety training or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential job functions safely and effectively, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills.
