Job summary

Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Internship- Heavy Civil in Tulsa, OK. The internship aims to evaluate potential for future full-time employment, with field and office exposure and a dedicated mentor to guide technical and professional growth.

Position offers a May–August 2027 schedule, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with possible night shifts and part-time fall/winter work while attending school. Pay starts at $19/hour and may go up to $25/hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior (highly preferred).
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Past construction work experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma

Responsibilities

• Assisting in public relations, claims, subcontractor back charges, and force account work.
• Processing all documents required to start-up project as outlined in project checklist.
• Update and maintain C.P.M. under direction of P.M.
• Monthly schedule distribution to field and subcontractors.
• Schedule survey and inspections for field operations.
• Update and maintain as-Built drawings if required.
• Tracking quantities to ensure accurate payment by Owner.
• Managing change order correspondence and tracking

Education

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
