Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer in Salt Lake City, Utah to manage procurement, scheduling, and cost control for heavy civil projects. The role involves coordinating drawings, specifications, and subcontracting, while mentoring engineering staff to ensure timely project delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Environmental Engineering or Construction Management degree with CMAR and document-control experience. Competitive salary with benefits in a dynamic ENR firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Environmental Eng or Construction Management.
• CMAR work preferred.
• Wet Utilities experience preferred.
• Project Document Controls experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute projects including material procurement and expediting.
• Assist in work planning for self-perform activities and mentor staff.
• Coordinate and review drawings, specifications, changes, and document control.
• Manage subcontracting: define scope, write subcontracts, process changes.
• Prepare progress claims and estimates and track costs.
• Monitor inventory and labor productivity for self-perform work.
