Petticoat-Schmitt Civil Contractors, Inc. is seeking a dependable Fuel & Lube Truck Driver to support field operations across Jacksonville, FL. You will fuel and service heavy construction equipment, perform routine maintenance, and maintain records to minimize downtime.

Based in Jacksonville, you will travel between active projects, following DOT requirements and company safety procedures, with an emphasis on reliability and safety in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required with a safe driving record.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong communication, organization, and recordkeeping skills.
• Commitment to safety, dependability, and professional conduct.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate a fuel and lube service truck between active construction projects.
• Fuel excavators, dozers, loaders, rollers, articulated trucks and other heavy equipment.
• Perform routine lubrication, fluid checks, and basic preventive service.
• Inspect equipment for leaks, damage, or maintenance needs and report findings.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel usage, services, and materials.
• Restock fuel, lubricants, grease, filters, and service supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with field supervisors, mechanics, and equipment operators.
