Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator to join our industry-leading civil construction firm in Phoenix, AZ. This permanent, hybrid role emphasizes accurate estimating, bid preparation, value engineering, and cost analysis for concrete, earthwork and related structures.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy civil estimating, a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and proficiency with estimating software.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction estimating or a related role.
• Proficient in concrete, flatwork, concrete structures, and earthwork.
• Experience in project bidding, value engineering, blueprint reading, cost analysis, and budgeting.
• Knowledge of dirt estimating and abutment* is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Proficient in using various estimating software and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar certification is a plus.
