Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator to join our industry-leading civil construction team in Phoenix. This permanent role offers a hybrid work arrangement with a salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 per year.

You will prepare detailed estimates for heavy civil projects, including concrete, earthwork, and structures; participate in bids; apply value engineering; analyze blueprints and cost data; and collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure profitability and

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction estimating or related role.
• Proficient in concrete, flatwork, concrete structures, and earthwork.
• Experience in bidding, value engineering, blueprint reading, cost analysis, and budgeting.
• Knowledge of dirt estimating and abutment is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; can work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient with estimating software/tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management preferred; CPE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for heavy civil construction projects (concrete, flatwork, earthwork).

Job Details

1. Prepare detailed estimates for heavy civil construction projects, including concrete, flatwork, concrete structures, and earthwork.

Qualifications

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
7. Proficient in using various estimating software and tools.
8. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
9. Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar certification is a plus.
