Qualifications

Experience in heavy civil construction environments is required.
Ability to interpret construction plans, specs, and project scopes.
Experience with quantity takeoffs, budgeting, estimating, or cost management.

Responsibilities

Review plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and contract documents.
Develop quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for heavy civil projects.
Evaluate labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and production costs.
Assist in bid preparation, pricing, and proposal development.
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Support change order pricing and cost evaluation.
Participate in project handoff and preconstruction planning activities.
Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation.
Support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking efforts.
