Ferrovial is seeking a hands-on Heavy Equipment Operator to operate a crawler tractor with a bulldozer attachment. The role requires performing earth-moving tasks, prioritizing safety, and working outdoors across varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities include starting and controlling machine functions, possibly handling ripper attachments, and maintaining equipment through basic servicing and adjustments.

Qualifications

• Operate a crawler tractor with bulldozer mounted in front of chassis to level, distribute and push earth or other material.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures; report unsafe activities.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers to operate machines.
• May operate a ripper attachment to break up rock or other hard material.
• May use a push block on front of tractor to push load scrapers.
• Take actions to avoid hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, workers, and falling objects.
• May oil, grease, or service the machine.
• Make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed.
