We are currently seeking a Design-Build Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our legacy of building the foundation for the future.

Job Summary:

The Design-Build Engineer will assist in various phases of planning and construction, proposal development, site evaluations, analytical design coordination, report preparation, and project documentation.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

• Participate in multi-discipline engineering teams for transportation projects including freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural highways, and shared use facilities.
• Coordinate project pursuit design and deliverables to meet estimating and construction needs.
• Develop project models and perform quantity takeoffs.
• Coordinate constructability reviews, pursuit and project engineering refinement, and provide concept evaluations.
• Manage electronic/digital information for the project team.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional Engineering License.
• 5+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design.
• Ability to work effectively as a team leader and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Advanced understanding of Bentley Open Roads Designer and ProjectWise Explorer.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients, staff, and management.

Physical Requirements and Working Environment:

• Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk, and stand; frequently lift/move up to 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs.
• This position requires in-person work.
• Professional, business casual office environment.
