Job summary

Posillico Civil, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Civil Construction Laborer to perform physical labor on highways, bridges, roads, drainage systems, and other infrastructure projects.

You will support craft workers and equipment operators to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications. The role requires outdoor work in varying weather, the ability to lift up to 50–100 pounds, stand and walk for long periods, and the use of hand tools and basic power tools while keeping a

Qualifications

• Physically demanding work with lifting, bending and standing for long periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn construction techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and work as a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality; commitment to safety.
• OSHA-10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties on heavy civil construction projects.
• Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and backfilling.
• Load, unload, move, and distribute construction materials and equipment.
• Assist with installation of drainage systems, pipes, culverts, and other underground utilities.
• Support concrete work, including preparing forms, placing materials, and cleaning work areas.
• Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, and incidents to the supervisor.
• Assist equipment operators and other craft workers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
