Job summary

Rummel Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Foreman to direct field personnel, enforce safety, and coordinate on-site activities.

The role involves assisting the Project Superintendent and maintaining clear communication with supervision and project teams. The candidate should have 2–3 years in heavy civil construction, familiarity with cut/fill earthwork, and the ability to travel to jobsites.

Qualifications

HEAVY CIVIL CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN

Rummel Construction, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Foreman. This position is responsible for directing field personnel, administering good construction safety practices and communicating effectively with all on-site activities. Assisting the Project Superintendent with various construction activities and maintaining good communication with supervision and project management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

• 2-3 Years' Experience in the Construction Industry, preferably heavy civil
• Knowledge of cut and fill operations
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader
• Exercises professional judgement and behavior
• Ability and willingness to travel to jobsites
• Cut/fill earthwork operations on residential projects
• Reading and interpreting plan sets
• Reading and understanding soil reports and project specifications
• Dust Control requirements and best practices
