Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic reading/writing in English to read work orders and safety manuals
• Basic measuring skills to read English and metric measurements
• Basic arithmetic to convert decimals and fractions
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows for loading designs to burn
• Minimum two years’ experience operating burning machinery
• Experience operating an overhead crane or forklift
• Good manual dexterity and coordination

Responsibilities

• Review CAD drawings, work orders, and tooling instructions
• Coordinate material handling and operate overhead crane
• Select material, inspect dimensions, and verify tolerances
• Set up machine, adjust burning tip, gas flow and feed rates
• Align material in machine bed and use gauges for measurement
• Perform quality inspections and ISO in-process checks
• Operate forklift and overhead crane as part of duties
• Burn plates meeting specified thickness (≥ 6 inches)
• Maintain attendance and safety compliance
• Follow company Code of Conduct and confidentially requirements
• Perform other related duties as assigned
