Valtir, LLC, a leader in highway safety products, is hiring a Heavy Assembler for its Lima, OH manufacturing facility. The role involves assembling mechanical units, subassemblies, and completing orders, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and adhering to safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of industrial experience, a valid driver's license, and dependable attendance. The position demands lifting, teamwork, and flexibility in a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Reliable and predictable attendance.
• Ability to operate equipment in the area.
• Ability to perform essential functions safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, subassemblies or complete units.
• Complete orders by fabricating, assembling, wrapping packaging and binding required parts.
• Maintain a clean work environment through 5S activities.
• Lift/carry materials of different weights throughout the shift.
• Check tools and equipment in observance of safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy.
• Work in a fast paced, heavy industrial environment across plant areas.
• Adhere to safety procedures and wear required safety gear.
• Attend work regularly and arrive on time.
