Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical units and parts using hand/power tools, jigs and fixtures.
• Fit, align, calibrate and adjust components to meet tolerances and operating requirements.
• Repair units or products that fail to meet requirements.
• Attach components to finished product as specified.
• Lay out reference points and assemble parts according to blueprints and layouts.
• Identify parts needing repair and perform repairs as necessary.
• Follow safety rules and practices.
