Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a Heavy Accessory Installer for the 1st shift (6am–2:30pm) to join our team. You will install a range of vehicle accessories on factory and customer vehicles, following detailed training instructions to ensure safety and quality.

This role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort working outdoors in varying weather. Overtime may be required to meet production needs and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Willingness to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Install a variety of new vehicle accessories, including remote tailgate locks, lighted running boards, illuminated kick plates, step-rails, splash guards, camper shells, decals, bed liners, and other customer-specified accessories.
• Follow detailed written training instructions for accessory installation.
• Maintain safety and quality standards while working with hands-on vehicle components.

Heavy Accessory Installer 1st shift- 6am-230pm

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Accessory Installer, you'll be an integral part of our team, working with vehicles produced by some of the most well-known automotive and heavy equipment manufacturers in the world. This means, you may be among the first to see and work with the latest vehicles and technology hitting the roads! Your responsibilities will include: Installing a variety of new vehicle accessories, such as:

• Remote tailgate locks
• lighted running boards
• illuminated kick plates
• step-rails
• splash guards
• camper shells
• decals
• bed liners
• and other customer specified accessories

To thrive on our team as an Accessory Installer you are ready and able to have: A valid driver's license and clean driving record The ability to follow detailed written training instructions for accessory installation A willingness to walk and stand for much of your day Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to work in various weather conditions Physical ability: Frequent lifts and carrying of up to 50 pounds for distances of 50 feet, including overhead lifting Climbing to and working at heights of up to 15 feet Sufficient hand dexterity and strength to fasten, insert, and remove bolts, machine parts and pins, operate and withstand impact, vibration of electric and air-powered power tool
