Job description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing mechanical services team. This role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC and mechanical systems across a variety of customer sites. The ideal candidate is a dependable problem solver who takes pride in delivering exceptional service, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• sPerform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and replacements on commercial HVAC systems
• .Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control system issues efficiently
• .Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and mechanical drawings
• .Perform start-up, commissioning, and operational testing of HVAC equipment
• .Complete refrigerant recovery and charging in accordance with EPA regulations
• .Inspect systems and identify opportunities for preventative maintenance or equipment replacement
• .Accurately document service work, materials used, and recommendations using service management software
• .Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with customers and internal teams
• .Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualification

• sTechnical school or HVAC certification preferred
• .Commercial HVAC service experience preferred
• .Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• .Experience working with commercial building automation or controls is a plus
• .Excellent communication and customer service skills
• .Strong time management and organizational abilities
• .Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
