Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and evaluate mechanical and controls systems for performance improvements.
• Work directly with clients to provide effective, cost-conscious solutions respecting financial impact of recommendations.
• Receive a structured development plan with mentorship, workshops, and on-the-job training.

The Role

• Diagnose, service and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, package units and split systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and evaluate mechanical and controls systems to identify opportunities for improved performance.
• Work directly with clients to provide creative and technically effective solutions, with consideration for the financial impact of recommendations.
• Receive a structured 30-60-90 day development plan, including shadowing, workshops, education and support from senior team members.

The Candidate

• Proven hands-on HVAC/Refrigeration experience, ideally within commercial, industrial or similar environments.
• Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification and a College/Technician Degree in HVAC/Refrigeration or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair commercial HVAC equipment, with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
