Job summary

McKean Plumbing and Heating is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair and install HVAC equipment at customer sites across the service area. The role requires on-site visits, accurate diagnostics, and timely communication with dispatch and customers.

You will follow the schedule Monday through Friday 8am–5pm, with on-call responsibilities and a company vehicle provided for on-call work. The position emphasizes professionalism and customer service in residential and light commercial

Job description

The position of Service Technician includes travel to customer locations, diagnosis, repair, and installation of HVAC equipment. As with any position within McKean Plumbing and Heating, there may be areas of responsibility that overlap and include two or more departments. It is the people of McKean that make McKean successful.

It is important to note that all of the above responsibilities are vital to the success of our Service Department, and the company as a whole. Other responsibilities not listed may also be required. The above is meant to serve as a guide.

Schedule

It is expected that a Service Technician will be present during hours of operation, Monday thru Friday, 8am thru 5pm.

On-Call

A Service Technician will be required to be “On Call”. A schedule will be developed and issued. When On-Call, it Service Technicians are expected to be able to be reached. It is the responsibility of the Service Technician to be able to be reached by the Emergency Dispatcher at all times during the On-Call week.

Vehicle Usage

A company vehicle will be provided upon accepting On-Call responsibilities.
