Job summary

NCSL International is seeking a Process Engineer for Quench & Temper operations in the United States. The role focuses on supporting performance, process capability, and continuous improvement of heat treatment processes and related systems.

You will collaborate across Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and plant leadership to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, improve throughput, and sustain safe, reliable manufacturing performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical resource for Quench & Temper operations and process control.
  • Monitor performance, identify variation sources, and drive corrective actions to improve quality and throughput.
  • Analyze production data and quality metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Automation, and Technical Services.
  • Develop and improve process control plans, SOPs, and verification routines.
  • Support capital project startup activities, FAT/SAT, and ramp-up stabilization.
  • Coordinate with QA/NDT to ensure measurement systems and product verification meet specs.
  • Provide training and qualification sign-off for Quench & Temper processes.
  • Ensure safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory compliance.
