Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Proficient in basic shop math including fractions and decimals.
• Experience using basic inspection tools such as micrometers.
• Intermediate knowledge of heat treat processes and controls.
• Ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents and specs.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under PPE and safety guidelines.
• Adhere to quality processes and in-process inspections.
• Access and interpret documentation (H-Specs and similar).
• Lift up to 45 lbs and perform repetitive lifting.
• Work overtime as needed to meet production targets.
• Rack and load product in furnaces; perform basic PM tasks.
• Review furnace charts and ensure traceability of operations.
• Operate hoist and adjust furnace controller patterns per specs.
• Adjust furnace atmosphere controls and maintain process parameters.
• Collaborate in a team environment and assist others as needed.
