Job summary

PROtect, LLC is seeking a Heat Treat Technician in Missouri to perform heat treatment services on various industrial components. You will set up equipment, monitor cycles, perform PWHT, and ensure compliance with customer specs and safety standards.

You will document results, inspect treated parts, and collaborate with engineers and customers to meet job requirements. Some travel to sites may be required; strong mechanical aptitude and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in heat treatment or industrial heating.
• Familiar with resistance and induction heating.
• Knowledge of metallurgy, welding, and safety practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to job sites.
• Able to lift heavy equipment and work in extreme temperatures.
• HS diploma or GED; certifications in heat treatment are a plus.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience with field heat treatment equipment, possess strong mechanical aptitude, and be comfortable working in industrial settings.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in extreme temperatures or confined spaces.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications in heat treatment are a plus.
