PROtect, LLC is seeking a Heat Treat Technician to join our team. This role performs heat treatment services on industrial components, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience with field heat treatment equipment and a strong mechanical aptitude in industrial settings. You will set up and operate heat treatment equipment, monitor cycles, and document parameters while working on-site at diverse locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in heat treatment, industrial heating, or related fields.
• Familiarity with heat treatment methods, including resistance and induction heating.
• Basic knowledge of metallurgy, welding processes, and industrial safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heat treatment equipment to meet required specifications.
• Monitor and adjust temperature controls, heating elements, and treatment cycles.
• Perform on-site heat treatment services, including preheat, PWHT, and stress relieving.
• Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping of treatment parameters and results.
• Inspect workpieces for defects or irregularities before and after treatment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot heat treatment equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and customers to ensure job requirements are met.

• Maintain and troubleshoot heat treatment equipment as needed.
