Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a GNA Heat Treat Processor to support our engineering-driven manufacturing environment. You’ll handle blade and cassette movements, track daily production, follow work instructions, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

This role requires a high school diploma, basic math, and teamwork. You’ll train others in area, communicate with schedulers, and contribute to continuous improvement on the heat treat line.

Qualifications

  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Work well with others.

Responsibilities

  • Build Up: Distribute blades and cassettes to and from build up personnel.
  • Break Down: Pull samples from each load per sampling plan and deliver to quality lab.
  • Both: Track daily production on shift report and weigh scale, and complete load/shift reports.
  • Both: Perform work per work instructions and area metrics.
  • Both: Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Both: Inform proper personnel of material shortage.
  • Both: Train others in area.
  • Both: Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area.
  • Both: Practice 5Ss.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities – Build Up
  • Distribute blades and cassettes to and from build up personnel
  • Communicate with scheduler / Ipsen tech to ensure correct blades are available
  • Track daily production on shift report
  • Perform work per work instructions and area metrics
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Inform proper personnel of material shortage
  • Train others in area
  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
  • Practice 5Ss
