Job summary

Ellwood Crankshaft Group is seeking a Heat Treat Operator I for our Sharon, PA facility. This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Plant Manager and requires a High School diploma with manufacturing experience.

The candidate will assist with furnace setups, handle materials, operate cranes/AGVs, and maintain safety and quality standards on the shop floor. Experience with heat treat equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with heat treat equipment preferred.
• Strong math skills and ability to train others in best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with furnace and product setups per heat treat schedule.
• Perform labor support like material handling and setup tasks.
• Operate cranes or AGVs for material movement as needed.
• Maintain reports, housekeeping, and safety compliance.
• Support routine preventive maintenance and training procedures.
