Job summary

RBC Bearings in Greenville, SC is seeking a skilled Heat Treat Operator to rack parts, load furnaces, and set up equipment with training.

You will follow drawings and specifications for time, temperature, and hardness, monitor processes, inspect parts with Rockwell/Buehler equipment, and maintain safety and LEAN practices on the 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Process parts according to engineering drawings, written instructions, and customer specifications for time, temperature, and hardness.
• Monitor computer-based process-recording systems and visually inspect equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Inspect heat-treated parts using precision measuring equipment, including Rockwell hardness testers and Buehler testing equipment.
• Follow production schedules, report deviations or material shortages, and complete required production and quality documentation.
