Job summary

Aerobraze, a division of Wall Colmonoy, is hiring a Furnace Operator in the United States to help shape the future of aerospace manufacturing. You will monitor heat treat furnaces, prepare parts for processing, load and unload equipment, troubleshoot issues, and promote safety and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional work experience preferred.

• Knowledge of heat treating processes preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Aerobraze, a division of Wall Colmonoy, manufactures turbine engine components like turbine nozzles, turbine vanes, complete turbine engines (both manufacturing and repair), diffusers, honeycomb seals and segments, heat shields, and parts for various turbomachinery. Primary Responsibilities

• Control and monitor heat treat furnaces while following written instructions.
• Prepare parts for processing; load and unload furnaces, fixtures, baskets, etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot unexpected issues and/or notify supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications and Attributes

• High School degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5-year professional work experience and/or training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a vacuum furnace for heat treat preferred.
• Knowledge of heat treating processes preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
