Eaton is seeking a Heat Treat Operator for the 1st shift in Beltsville, MD. Core hours are 7 am–3 pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime opportunities. The role involves setting up and operating heat treat furnaces, loading/unloading parts, and recording process data to meet router specifications.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Expect a safety-focused environment with opportunities for growth.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• No immigration sponsorship offered; within 50-mile radius of Beltsville.
• Export-controlled information requires U.S. person eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate heat treat furnaces to support parts across value streams.
• Load/unload components and run cycles per router specs; monitor data.
• Verify cycle temperatures and cooling rates; document on charts.
• Perform daily/weekly instrumentation checks on equipment and thermocouples.
• Examine parts for color/quality; conduct hardness tests as required.
• Transport parts using the Eaton van and assist with vendor trips.
