NTA Precision Axle is hiring a Heat Treat Operator to operate CNC lathe and milling machines on an 8–12 hour shift. You will load, inspect, offset, and tool parts in a fast-paced shop, with a focus on ISO 16949/14001 compliance and 5S cleanliness.
The role offers starting pay at $19 per hour plus second/third shift differentials, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and tuition reimbursement.
Hourly
Heat Treat Operator is responsible for operating CNC lathe and/or milling machine. Loads and inspects parts, changes offsets and tooling. Heat Treat Operator position ensures parts are heat treated through an induction heat treat process. Work is performed in a manufacturing setting standing and walking on concrete floors throughout an 8 to 12 hour shift with frequent handling of metal parts weighing 1 to 5 pounds, visual inspection, occasional bending or reaching, use of hand tools, use of up to 50 lbs. of force to move heavy loads on wheels.
Starting Wage: $19.00
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At NTA Precision Axle, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
We offer a 2nd shift differential of $2.00 per hour and 3 rd shift differential of $3.00 per hour
