**Job Requirements:**
- Inspect and perform surveys and maintenance on heat treat furnaces to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Operate casting straightening devices to straighten castings and work in the control room as needed.
- Inspect heat treat furnaces for wear, cracks, etc., and perform necessary repairs, including:
- Replacing refractory bricks in walls and hearths, ensuring level installation.
- Pouring refractory floors according to procedures.
- Repairing or replacing furnace walls, ceilings, etc.
Set up furnace survey towers and complete surveys.Operate Stacker Crane as necessary.Fill in as Control Room Operator when required.Perform all duties related to general furnace maintenance on heat treat furnaces and related equipment.Inspect and measure castings to determine straightening methods; operate 400-ton straightening press and 200/500-ton ring straightening devices.Assist other department personnel with preparing heat treat loads, transporting materials, etc.Assist and instruct new employees.**Requirements:**
- Heat treating experience and knowledge of materials and heat-treating methods preferred.
- Ability to obtain a forklift operator's license.
- Ability to operate crane as needed.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
