Job summary

API Heat Transfer is seeking a skilled assembler to join the Franklin facility. You will assemble heat exchanger components, read blueprints, and help ensure product quality. The role requires at least 6 months in manufacturing and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

A strong mechanical aptitude and team focus are essential. You will use hand and power tools, follow 5S and safety protocols, document work, and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in assembly or related manufacturing work.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and subassemblies using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Conduct visual and mechanical inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Operate equipment such as fin machines, stackers, and leak testers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following 5S and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Accurately document work and report any issues to the supervisor.
