Job summary

Heat Recovery Innovations (HRI) is seeking an assembler for heat exchanger units in a manufacturing setting. You will assemble subassemblies using BOMs, drawings and QC documents, ensuring tolerances and specifications are met.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. You will work in a team, assist engineers with prototypes and production testing, and may handle material movement and basic equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and assembly instructions.
• Perform in-process quality checks and document results.
• Maintain safe, clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Assemble non-specialized and some specialized mechanical sub-assemblies and packages.
• Read and interpret BOMs, drawings, and QC documents; sign off before proceeding.
• Ensure tools and equipment are calibrated and within spec; report discrepancies.
• Work flexibly in a team environment and cover other assembly tasks as needed.
• Support development, testing and documentation; maintain production logs and records.
• Follow safety laws, regulations and procedures; identify safety concerns and resolve.
• Operate basic material handling equipment; overtime including weekends may be required.
