Responsibilities

• Acts as front line representative of unit and interacts with families and visitors.
• Answers telephone calls and assists in overall unit functioning.
• Coordinates to ensure safety, regulatory standards, and infection prevention.
• Ensures the unit is well supplied and equipment is available and working.
• Documents patient status and flow using support systems.
• Maintains up-to-date, organized HIS-compliant chart information.
• Manages secure medication storage, handling, and disposal per policy.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
