Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover, DE seeks a Nurse Practitioner for specialty care within the Heart and Vascular location. The role requires a Master's in Nursing and NP credentials.

You will work in a collaborative model with physicians to provide exams, diagnoses, treatments, and prevention strategies for both chronic and acute conditions. Responsibilities include prescribing medications, interpreting tests, educating patients, and coordinating care across hospital and clinic settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner credential(s) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and advanced practice credentials expected.
• Experience in specialty care preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Prescribe and manage medications per patient needs and guidelines.
• Conduct comprehensive exams and develop care plans.
• Educate patients to promote wellness and prevention.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and coordinate referrals.
• Provide care in hospital and ambulatory settings as applicable.
