The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range of $143,894 to $223,038 per year, with a 80-hour full-time schedule and days shift.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's degree; Nurse Practitioner.
• Credential(s): Basic Life Support, Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner - Controlled Substances Registration; Experience: Required: No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prescribes pharmaceuticals according to age, chronic conditions, allergies, drug interactions, and duration of therapy.
• Performs routine and specialty physical exams and documents age-related preventive health screening.
• Educates and counsels patients to promote wellness and addresses health risk behaviours.
• Interprets diagnostic tests and provides referrals or consultations.
• Performs technical and surgical procedures as necessary.
• Dispenses pharmaceuticals according to age, chronic conditions, allergies, drug interactions, and duration of therapy.
• Completes discharge planning and education; writes orders and prescriptions.
• Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes and documents responses to interventions.
• Upholds the professional code of ethics.
• Keeps licenses/certifications up to date ( ACLS/PALS as applicable).
• Provides agreed coverage to care for patients during business hours and evenings/weekends.
• All other duties as assigned within scope and range of responsibilities.
