Job summary

Catawba Valley Health System in North Carolina seeks an imaging professional to perform a variety of imaging modalities under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, Cardiologist or Surgeon.

Education required includes graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program with ARRT or RCIS registration, and BCLS (AHA preferred) with ACLS within one year. IR/Vascular or Cardiac experiences are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology.
• Current ARRT or RCIS registration.
• BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within three months of employment date. ACLS within one year of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of imaging modalities under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, Cardiologist or Surgeon.
• Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date; if no previous experience, within twelve months of employment date.
