Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks a Heart and Vascular Sonographer to perform non-invasive vascular and echocardiography studies. You will develop relationships with patients and act as an educational resource, contributing to research and staying current with protocols and equipment.

You will follow testing protocols, produce high-quality images, document exams, and collaborate with care teams to ensure efficient service delivery in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program with ARDMS/CCI registry or eligible.
• Must have at least one year of experience performing ultrasound in vascular and/or echocardiography.
• Current knowledge of ultrasound technology and safety practices; ability to work with latest equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive vascular and/or echocardiography testing per established protocols.
• Produce high-quality study images and data with proper use of imaging equipment.
• Obtain relevant clinical history prior to testing and ensure documentation supports exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and families; maintain professional relationships with care teams.
• Collaborate with peers to maximize productivity and maintain workflow; schedule add-ons and emergencies as needed.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and ensure a clean testing area; report maintenance needs.
