Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year previous experience performing the modality.
• Demonstrated ability to follow established testing protocols.
• Must pass the registry within the first year of employment if not registered at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive vascular and or echo testing and all duties of a Sonographer.
• Ensure that there is supporting information and documentation for the exam being performed.
• Communicate equipment maintenance needs to the Lead and operate equipment safely.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to communicate effectively with hospital management, physicians, and technologists

Current knowledge of technology and clinical advances related to cardiac and/or vascular sonography

Basic understanding of imager configuration, DICOM standards, networking and medical records

Education

Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program

ARDMS or CCI registered, or registry eligible
