Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare seeks a Heart Transplant & VAD Coordinator to coordinate and provide multidisciplinary inpatient and outpatient services for transplant and VAD patients and families. Under the Senior Director, Inpatient Nursing, you will lead the team across transplantation services and ensure high‑quality patient care.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, an RN license in Tennessee, and 3–5 years of clinical experience, with preferred Master’s in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Required - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred - Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Required - Registered Nurse in Tennessee (TN Board of Nursing).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all phases of VAD implantation and heart transplantation.
• Provides overall coordination for the multidisciplinary team involved in VAD implantation and heart transplantation.
• Assures appropriate care during and after VAD implantation and heart transplantation.
• Implements and directs programs related to VADs and Heart Transplant.
• Demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities for self-development and clinical competency.
