Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare seeks a Heart Transplant & VAD Coordinator to coordinate and provide multidisciplinary inpatient and outpatient services for transplant and VAD patients and families. Under the Senior Director, Inpatient Nursing, you will lead the team across transplantation services and ensure high‑quality patient care.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, an RN license in Tennessee, and 3–5 years of clinical experience, with preferred Master’s in Nursing.

A Brief Overview

Work Experience Requirements

• Required - Clinical experience or direct patient care. 3-5 years

Licenses and Certifications Requirements

• Required - Registered Nurse Tennessee - Tennessee Board of Nursing

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to handle and administer narcotics as needed.
• Ability to read and write to communicate orally and in writing with other individuals.

Supervision Provided by this Position

• Reports to the Senior Director, Inpatient Nursing.

Physical Demands

• Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact.Provides 24/7 coverage for VAD and heart transplant patients and services.
• Exposure to body fluids and to hazardous or poisonous materials.
• Ability to respond to emergency or critical situations.
• Frequent travel outside the hospital.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 200 lbs. at a time and to carry 50 lbs. at a time without assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit in one place, squat, reach, and bend while maintaining balance and coordination.
• Ability to use hands and feet together for repetitive, coordinated motions.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motion.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
