Job summary

The Transplant Administrator develops the heart transplant program and mechanical circulatory support program, with strategic, operational, financial and regulatory oversight.

This leader works with transplant physicians, surgeons, nursing leadership, coordinators, finance, quality and other departments to ensure compliance with OPTN/UNOS, CMS and Joint Commission while improving patient outcomes and program growth.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develop heart transplant and mechanical circulatory support programs.
• Ensure compliance with OPTN/UNOS, CMS, Joint Commission and other regulations.
• Lead collaboration with physicians, surgeons, nursing, coordinators, finance and quality teams.
• Oversee program performance, quality metrics, financial stewardship, workforce management and strategic planning.
