Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medication, pediatrics, and clinical therapeutics.

• Maintain validation of department competencies.
• Ability to work under pressure and with teams.
• Must hold TX State Board of Pharmacy Preceptor License and precept two clinical students annually.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds and coordinate drug therapy for medical specialties.
• Promote formulary and implement formulary-related improvements.
• Educate parents, patients, caregivers, pharmacists, and students; provide drug information.
• Collaborate with care teams and maintain effective communication.
• Support recruitment, training, and clinical on-call activities.
