Job summary

IHA is seeking a dedicated cardiac technician to perform ECGs, Holter monitoring, and event recording with precision and care. The role emphasizes accuracy in obtaining and documenting cardiology data and requires CPR certification.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma and at least one year of relevant experience, with the ability to complete basic electrocardiographic procedures efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience of at least one year preferred.
• Requires ability to perform all basic electrocardiographic procedures in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Completes cardiology procedures paying particular attention to all details ensuring a quality study.
• Demonstrates proper technique for performing routine ECGs.
• Acquires Signal Average ECGs according to physician's specifications.
• Applies 24 hour Holter monitor utilizing test strip to ensure proper recording.
• Operates Holter scanning equipment; scans are thoroughly analyzed, significant data recognized and representative strips documented.
• Demonstrates ability to apply event recorders.
