Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiologist

Join one of the nation's highest-performing Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant programs.

Intermountain Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiologist to join our nationally recognized Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant team in Murray, Utah. This is a unique opportunity to practice comprehensive, disease-specific heart failure management within a premier program that delivers outstanding patient outcomes and serves as the referral destination for complex cardiovascular patients across the Intermountain West

Our Advanced Heart Failure program provides care for patients requiring the highest level of specialty expertise, including advanced heart failure management, LVAD therapy, heart transplantation, and multiple subspecialty disease programs. The team currently includes five Heart Failure physicians supported by sixteen Advanced Practice Providers, creating a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary care environment.

Practice Highlights
  • At Intermountain Health Medical Center, you would join a unique clinical practice with the opportunity to work within a highly specialized program with exposure to 9 different sub-specialties (HCM, familial cardiomyopathy, amyloidosis, sarcoidosis, cardio-oncology, cardio-obstetrics, congenital)
  • Approximately two-thirds outpatient and one-third inpatient responsibilities
  • Dedicated inpatient service weeks caring for advanced heart failure and transplant patients
  • Robust multidisciplinary support from an experienced APP team
  • Call is 1:6 with active restructuring
  • Opportunities to participate in outreach clinics across the Intermountain West
  • Ability to contribute to the continued growth and development of a nationally respected program

The program maintains regional outreach clinics in locations including:

  • Boise, Idaho
  • Billings, Montana
  • Grand Junction, Colorado

Our Heart Failure Cardiologists participate in periodic outreach clinic rotations that help expand access to advanced heart failure care and support the growth of Intermountain's advanced therapies program.
