Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Heart Failure ICU Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for full-time night shifts in the Texas Medical Center. The role focuses on comprehensive patient care for complex cardiac patients, using advanced assessment and interventions.

You will work in a high-acuity environment with ECMO/Transplant populations, collaborating with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NP program approved by the State of Texas or Acute Care NP TX if Trauma area; Master of Nursing preferred.
• Current State of Texas license to practice professional nursing as an NP.
• Certifications: ACLS or PALS or NRP; ATLS if Trauma area.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment, triage, and management of patient needs in ICU/Cardiac settings.
• Performs and assists with advanced procedures and lines as needed.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and adheres to hospital protocols and pathways.
• Maintains patient safety, documentation, and quality outcomes.
