Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Texas seeks a Heart Failure ICU Advanced Practice Provider for night shifts. You will deliver high-acuity cardiac care and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a busy medical center.

Required: Texas NP or Acute Care NP certification, 2+ years in critical care nursing, ACLS/PALS/NRP; ATLS if Trauma. AGACNP or PA certification required. Opportunities for growth and advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the State of Texas or Acute Care NP program for Trauma area; Master of Nursing preferred.
• Current State of Texas license to practice professional nursing.
• Certifications: appropriate ANCC/NC or other approved credential in area of specialty; ACLS/PALS/NRP, ATLS if Trauma.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment, triage, and therapeutic management as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Performs exams, orders tests, formulates treatment plans and follows patient outcomes.
• Collaborates in development and evaluation of patient care protocols and pathways.
• Educates patients and families and participates in quality improvement activities.
