Job summary

The Cardiology Section at VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) is seeking a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join the Heart Failure services, in ambulatory and inpatient settings. The successful candidate will work with Heart Failure NPs, Fellows, and clinicians to advance care and jointly develop the Cardiac Amyloid and other programs.

Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School will be offered commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required or suitable exceptions per VA policy.
• Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease is required or eligible.
• Training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology preferred/required as applicable.
• Full, unrestricted medical license in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-invasive cardiology services including ambulatory and inpatient care.
• Collaborate with Heart Failure services, NPs, and fellows for advanced care.
• Develop Cardiac Amyloid and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy programs with affiliates.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Manage attending schedules and equipment to ensure service efficiency.
